The final cat coaster boasts a diameter of 110mm, printed in approximately two hours with 10% infill and one shell. This stunning design is based on the plane group p6m, which features the most symmetry elements including 2-, 3-, and 6-fold rotation axes, along with numerous lines of reflection and glide reflection. To showcase all these symmetries, a whopping 96 cat images are included on the coaster, though individual images may only be visible upon closer inspection. Two STL files - cat_coasters_p6m.stl and cat_decorations_p6m.stl - have been made available by Cat_coasters_05 SCAD. Additionally, two other OPENSCAD programs, gen_p6m_array.scad and gen_p6m_circle.scad, are included for those interested in the intricate process of creating these cat coasters. The first program uses a single cat image as input to generate an array of 208 cats with p6m symmetry (output: p6m_cat_cell_13.dxf), while the second program selects a circular portion from this large sample for placement on the coaster (output: p6m.dxf). A PDF file showcasing some symmetry elements of p6m, along with others illustrating included DXF files, has also been provided in coasters_dxf_05.zip.
