We adore cats and longed for one that was lifelike and silky, but struggled to find one online so we created this one ourselves. To hang on a tree or wall, we added an ornamental ring. It prints well at all resolutions without any supports or raft required. The standard model without the ornament hook is also included in the files. The print is designed as a medium-sized 70 x 50 x 50 mm, taking approximately one hour to print at .2 resolution. Even .30 resolution works fine for this design. We prefer increasing the size by 25% and print quality, but then it takes about two and a half hours to build. You can reduce the size by 25% to print a kitten to go with her mother. Rev A - 12/8/18 17:30 PST: We added a hollow version that is slightly taller and narrower (70 x 45 x 55 mm tall), using even less filament so it can fit over an LED light bulb from your Christmas tree or tea light, or other candle/finger LED available on Amazon or eBay. We recommend using 5% infill and clear or other translucent filament to let the light shine through. We also revised the ornament ring size to make it stronger. Happy Printing and a Happy New Year!
