This is a highly detailed, photorealistic 3D model of a British cat that's fully UV-mapped and smoothable. It was created using 3ds Max 2014 software in conjunction with Hairfarm and MOrphing for advanced fur rendering. The scene features a sitting animation pose and utilizes layers for faster rendering and stability. The base scene, Cat_fur.max, is divided into two scenes - Fur render and Vray render - for efficient processing. Both materials are included and the lighting remains consistent in each stage. The render time for one frame at 1280x720 resolution is approximately three minutes. The project was completed using 3ds Max 2014 and Vray 2.4, with optional Hairfarm2 support. The cat's diffuse map measures 6144x6144 pixels, while the specular map is 6144x6144. Eye color diffuse map resolution is 400x400, and the fur mask generate measures 6144x6144. A morph target for closing the cat's mouth is also included in the scene by Cuss Astil.
