I edited the tongue-in-cheek contraption so I could use it while cruising with my cat, Lucky, by my side. He detests being restrained during car rides, but now we can hit the open road safely and in compliance with Spanish driving regulations. When traveling with our pets, we need to secure two seatbelts, one for dogs and one for cats - using a pet transport box is also an option, but Lucky has made it clear he's not a fan of being cooped up.
