'Castlex-B' Battle Automaton
thingiverse
Castlex-B Battle Automatons were built on an established line of automaton products. Initially designed to handle maintenance in hazardous industrial environments, the Castlex-A refits and later licensed Castlex-B purpose-built models provided a robust weapons platform with the flexibility demanded by modern commanders. The Castlex-B model is supplied in separate pieces, intended for printing on an SLA printer. No testing has been done on other 3D printing platforms, so troubleshooting or setup issues are unknown. A complete .form file will be uploaded for those using Formlabs printers. Five units have been printed without issue on the Form2. Parts requiring multiple copies are noted, and optional parts can be exchanged with their counterparts. For assembly, it's best to build the torso and legs separately, rather than attempting to glue everything together at once. Before printing, a scale adjustment was necessary: The main torso file should measure 38.3 x 26 x 12.5 for a 28mm scale model. Scale as needed, but making the model smaller is not recommended.
