Castle Tower (Multicolor/Multimaterial)
prusaprinters

Yesterday I designed this cute little tower in Tinkercad.

It's designed to be printed in 4 colors (grass, door, brick/stone, and the top color, which I chose to be purple). I included an extra STL file if you don't have a multicolor printer, which is ok!

The print time took about 10 hours on my Original Prusa i3 MK3S MMU2S.

Print instructions

If you're using a single-color multimaterial unit like the MMU2S or Palette, feel free to add extra purging to the lighter colors. The color doesn't need to be changed a whole lot! Just make sure the green or purple doesn't get tainted with gray and you'll be all set!

Now that "No sparse layers" is a feature in PrusaSlicer, I HIGHLY recommend using that to save a lot of time and plastic, since most of the wipe tower would normally be hollow since there are only a few color changes. This is a perfect model to test the setting with!
