Castle Themed Planter

Castle Themed Planter

A few months ago, I had a ton of apple and cherry seeds leftover after making jam and jellies from fruits. Usually I toss them away, but I decided to try my hand at growing a few. I didn't feel like buying apot, so I looked for some print friendly designs. I found many, but I didn't like them or just thought they were simple enough to produce myself, so I did, several times. This is the latest pot design, sized to fit my window sill, while providing a bit more room above the foot. It is also a self watering pot, the rests within a brick patterned base, complimenting the castle turret design aroung the planter top. While thin walled, I dialed in some settings that seem to make it water tight enough to prevent leaks. Print quailty was set to 0.3mm,but 0.35mm works as well. I use a 0.6mm nozzle to reduce chance of clogging, as I use lots of wood/custom fill filament. Wall count set to 4... All overlap percentages, for walls and infill were set to 15 to 20%. Infill was set to 40%, but 100% is a safe bet, but may take a bit longer. The walls are not very thick, so it wouldn't make much difference, unless sized up beyond the default.
