Castle set with companion tactile diagrams
thingiverse
This set of castles was created to be used in a history topic for a student who is blind. It includes three common castles: a motte and bailey castle, a concentric castle and a stone keep castle. There is a 3D model for each, along with tactile diagrams with braille labels that match the 3D model (though at a larger scale). The models have been tested in a school. The tactile diagrams are A3 size and need to be printed on swell paper and then heated in order to be tactile. The motte and bailey are two separate models that I combined in the slicing program. Line up the walls on both sides to get a good fit. The stone keep castle was printed at 125%
