Castle Paint Caddy
thingiverse
I was searching for a fun paint caddy for my 1/2 oz paints and couldn't find one that caught my eye, so I designed this myself. This paint caddy should hold up to 15 half-ounce bottles of paint with ease. The dimensions are 164mm x 141mm x 105mm, making it a perfect fit on an Ender 3 printer. My own printer is undergoing some upgrades right now, which means I haven't had the chance to print this one out myself yet. I created this design using Fusion 360 and have included both SketchUp files and Fusion 360 files for anyone who wants to give it a try. One thing that's got me stumped is how well the file with the stonework will print, since I couldn't figure out a way to chamfer all of the edges on the stones. Maybe I'll need to learn Blender and create some new stones from scratch or re-texture this whole piece - it could be a fun remix project for someone with the right skills. Cura has an experimental feature called Make Overhangs Printable, which can help taper up the bottom of those wall stones, making them print better. I'll update you on how it turns out once I get around to printing it.
