This switch plate is for the Castle Electronics Mamba Monster X 8S (MMX8S) esc to solidly mount the on/off switch out of the way but still in reach.The switch plate can be flipped around to multiple positions to locate the switch where you want or need it.You'll have to use a small drill to make the holes in the printed plate to attach the esc's on/off switch to the plate.Depending on clearances, you can mount the plate between the esc fan and esc body or the fan cover plate and the fan. Regardless of where you mount it, you will have to use longer screws to compensate for the added thickness of the switch plate. Be careful of how long of a screw you use. If it's too long it could damage the capacitors that are below two of the mounting holes in the esc body. I replaced the original screws with a set of M3 screws. If you use regular machine screws like an M3 or 4-40, I suggest carefully threading the screws into the esc body to pre-form the threads for when you mount the fan and printed switch plate. Be careful when turning the screw in to form the thread. The plastic is very thin and could easily break.Do not use a power screw driver for this.
