Casting flask 140 ml 5.5 cm ID, 6 cm high

Small molding flask. I frequently require casting small components in Thermo-stable materials or resins. This flask is an ideal way to hold two-part silicone rubber for creating molds. It should hold 140 milliliters when filled to capacity, or 70 milliliters when half-filled. Subtract the volume of your part from 140 milliliters (or 70) and you will be close to determining the correct volume of two-part silicone for the mold. For casting: 1. Secure the hole at the bottom with tape. This hole serves as the "Blow out" opening for demolding. 2. Place the base in the cylinder and seal the seam with tape. 3. Apply a cross of tape vertically, spanning across the bottom and up the sides.
