The primary structure of Sir Edward James's Surrealist Castle is situated at the main entrance to the garden. This section consists of two main bodies; The first corresponds to the space for the "Cinematographer" on the ground floor and first level, and the sculpture known as the "Stairway to Heaven" on the second level. It comprises two columns that support each pair of helical stairs, which converge at the top. The second body is located in the northern rear direction, this unit is composed of two parts; The first section is located in the western area called "Birdcage," formed by an open space with quadrangular base columns. On the eastern side is "The Cabin," consisting of a closed room set.
