This 3D model originates from Sketchup 8, then transformed into various formats. Its original file type is .skp, while 3dsmax scenes were created with 2016 version, rendered using Vray 3.00. Located in Toledo, Spain, the castle overlooks the Tagus and river, adjacent to Infantry Academy. Constructed as a monastery in 1088 under Alfonso VI's rule, it evolved into a fortress due to Christian kingdom threats from Muslim invasion via the Alcantara bridge. Once Muslims left the Iberian Peninsula entirely, this former stronghold gradually lost its defensive purpose and fell out of favor. Eventually facing demolition threats, in 1874 it was designated Historic-Artistic National site. Presently, in the XXI century, restoration brought this medieval castle back to life after multiple reincarnations: a junior college, Castile-La Mancha home, university residence, and now serving as youth hostel under Regional Government of Castile-La Mancha management, also hosting conferences and courses. Standing within it provides panoramic views of Toledo cityscape and the Tagus River flowing adjacent, previously part of the medieval citadel walls.
