I was getting desperate with the quarantine shutting down shops, and I found myself in need of a new source for casters to keep my table saw running smoothly. Luckily, I had some spare 608 bearings on hand, which sparked an idea - why not make my own casters? It seemed like a simple enough project, so I gave it a try. The wheels themselves are actually from skateboard parts, specifically the 70x25 mm variety from ColaCao. But what's really cool is that these wheels use standard 608 bearings, which means you can easily design and build your own custom wheel if you want to.
