Caster Wheel adapter for IKEA Adils Table leg
thingiverse
Wanted a mobile light workbench for crafts so I modified my IKEA Adils table leg by adding some office chair wheels that I picked up at Home Depot (7/16 stem). The adapter stays in place thanks to the original pad. The adapters are very tight fits (I had to hit the legs against the ground to mount them) but if you want easily removable casters, consider printing this at 105% scale. I made sure to leave the hole for the office chair slightly undersized so a 7/16 drill is needed to get a precise fit. It's recommended that you print this with the large hole opening upwards and no supports, as shown in the picture. The small hole for the caster will bridge over fine without any issues. You should print this at 100% infill or at least a high level of infill and enough solid bottom layers to fully support the top of both holes with solid plastic.
