Caster Foot for Ikea Melltorp table

These feet enable you to equip casters on an Ikea Melltorp table, giving it mobility on its sturdy tubular steel base. I bought one as a portable work surface and found it useful to have it mounted on casters for easy movement. These feet permit the addition of low-cost swivel casters designed for 3/8" holes. Remove the original foot from the leg, hammer the caster socket into the new foot, then tap the new foot into the bottom of the leg. I printed this part with the bottom flange facing upwards, skipping the bottom layers to make the foot slightly more flexible when fitting it into the leg. The overhangs are minimal and don't require any support.
