Castelo de Belver

Photoscan: I'm just starting out with photoscanning architecture, which explains a few gaps in my coverage. The far wall on the left is missing because the castle perches atop a hill with steep drop-offs all around (a classic design feature for any good castle). This is the main entrance of Castelo de Belver, offering a stunning view of the Tagus River. Constructed by the Hospitaler Knights as protection against the Moors, it was finally completed in 1212.
