I stumbled upon an awesome Grant Thompson (the king of random) video where he was struggling to cast a copper gear, so I came up with this innovative design that should yield a much better outcome. All you need to do is print out one gear and three cones. The cones fit perfectly into the gear and then compress seamlessly into your casting medium.
