I made a critical error by putting a lid on my Lodge cast-iron Dutch oven before storing it, allowing oil inside to go rancid. After thoroughly cleaning and re-seasoning the pot, I created and 3D-printed these spacers to prevent the lid from sealing shut on the Dutch oven and causing the same issue again. This solution also applies to my Lodge cast-iron frying pans, as they share the same angular design with my 10-inch pan, 12-inch pan, and 7-quart Dutch oven.
