The CAD model for a crankshaft was created as part of a "cast and powder metallurgy" assignment. As reference, a drawing from an old Hungarian machine elements book was utilized. By importing the figure into a picture analyzer software called JMicrovision, dimensions were measured accurately. The design was then completed using Autodesk Inventor 2012.
