Spacecraft History Cassini-Huygens is one of the most ambitious space missions ever launched into orbit. Equipped with an array of powerful instruments and cameras, the spacecraft can take precise measurements and detailed images in various atmospheric conditions and light spectrums. The Cassini-Huygens spacecraft consists of two main components: the Cassini orbiter and the Huygens probe. In 2004, the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft is scheduled to reach Saturn and its moons. There, the spacecraft will orbit around the system for four years, sending back valuable data that will help us understand the vast Saturnian region. The Huygens probe will enter Titan's murky atmosphere, Saturn's largest moon, and eventually descend via parachute onto its mysterious surface. The Huygens probe will send its measurements and images to Cassini, which will then transmit them back to Earth. All major instrumentation, communication systems, and propulsion systems are meticulously modeled. Components are grouped but not combined. All texture and bump files are provided as shown. Price: $79.00 Date Added: August 6, 2015 Last Update: August 6, 2015 Product ID: 55c3592eccff75b0688b45d8
