Cassette Shelving System

Cassette Shelving System

thingiverse

A shelving system designed specifically for cassettes - something I couldn't find anywhere without wasting valuable space on my shelf. With these files, you can build a custom-sized shelf tailored to your needs. The prints as uploaded were optimized for my Prusa i3 MK3S and utilize 3/8" threaded rods. However, you can easily customize them yourself: the fully parametric designs are available in Fusion 360 [here](https://a360.co/3ckwvmA). Simply adjust the parameters used to create a shelf of any size, number of cassettes, or configuration that suits your requirements. This shelving system is designed for pressure fit into a shelf. As evident from the photo above, I have trimmed my 3/8" threaded rods to precise lengths and assembled them with a connector, which can be expanded to securely fit into place. To prevent the shelves from slipping about after being fitted, I applied some rubber pads to the feet. This design could benefit from a few adjustments: the feet sometimes get in the way of cassettes on the edge. In my case, I simply positioned non-standard jewel cases at the edges to avoid any issues.
