Caspar Herman Storm's Salong in Oslo, Ladegard is an elegant mansion from the 1700s. The house was built on foundation walls after Christen Mule's residence, where King James VI of Scotland and Princess Anna were married in 1589. Christiania Woman Karen Toller built the house in the 1720s. Her grandchild Caspar Herman Storm gave Ladegard's main building its form that the estate has retained until our time. He owned the entire area from Alna Manor (near Østre Aker Church) and out to the shoreline at Bjørvika, and from Tøyen to Vaterland Bridge, all the way to Alna River's edge. On Caspar Herman Storm's time, the garden was at its largest, with ornamental and utility plants, several outbuildings and greenhouses. This saloon is the most beautiful in Ladegarden, with gold-decorated wallpaper from Casper's time. Therefore, the room is named after him.
