Casing for TP-LINK TL-SG1016 Repair and Design
thingiverse
I got this TP-Link Switch for free from my workplace, because the Power Supply was broken, so i replaced it with an external one and needed a new Case. I then realized i make these cases more often and want a more uniform design for these Cases without having to remake it every time. It should also be relatively easily printable and the Case should still work without the design parts around it. So i came up with this Design. Print the Main Casing Black and the Top Panel V4 alone or add all the other Parts in any color you like, it will work. WARNING: This case needs 4 M3 Heat Set inserts on the top Corners to keep the Lid in Place with 4 M3x6mm lens head screws. Everything else is just glued together. Pro Tip: Dont use superglue on black PLA, it will leave this white residue around the glued surfaces. Use a fast setting epoxy or other hard plastic glue instead.
