My wife and I went through the Dave Ramsey "Financial Peace University" program several years ago, which has had a lasting impact on our financial management habits. A key component of this system is a cash-based purchasing method where we use only cash for our weekly expenses. The program utilizes an envelope in a binder system to categorize the cash into various sections. As a practical man, carrying around an envelope binder became cumbersome and the envelopes themselves started to wear out. I discovered another approach that uses spring clips to separate cash categories within a wallet, but even this solution made the setup too bulky for my everyday wallet. In response, I designed these specialized clips specifically for my wife and me to organize our weekly cash into categories in a way that allows them to fit comfortably in both of our wallets without adding excessive bulk. The system includes pre-made categories tailored to our current needs, along with a blank clip where additional categories can be written as needed. To further enhance the organization, we use different colored prints for each category, making it easier to identify and select the correct category when making purchases.
