Sourced heat-set inserts come from McMaster-Carr PN 93365A142 - 8(.164)-32 UNC-2B, .313L, BRASS https://www.mcmaster.com/93365a142 and McMaster-Carr PN 93365A140 - 8(.164)-32 UNC-2B, .185L, BRASS https://www.mcmaster.com/93365a140. Printer settings include preferred material Amazon - PRILINE Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate 1KG 1.75. The Formbot Raptor 2.0 (400mm x 400mm x 500mm) printer is used with nozzle temperature ranging from 245-265 deg and bed temperature at 100 deg. Infill settings include interior infill of 0, a solid diaphragm every 1 layer, layer height of .23mm, external thin walls with perimeters only, internal thin walls with perimeters only. First layer settings include first layer height of 120%, first layer width of 120%, and first layer speed at 40%. The print speed is 24 mm /sec with a cooling fan off initially, but set to 75% for the second layer.
