About the caser-ap project in general: If you're not familiar with the caserap project, take a look at this YouTube video right now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bf7uXg3lzJg&t=49s It's no longer on Kickstarter. I'm working on it as a hobby and have made all files open source. All files and documentation can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3141792 If you speak French, check out this presentation too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rg7e7HtUI50 Today's update: Right now I'm working on a brand new version of the case-rap that uses 2020 aluminum extrusions. It's still a work in progress. But I've improved the hinge system and it's compatible with both case-rap 4.0 and 5.0 models. That's why today I'm publishing a 5.1 version, which is just an update from version 5.0. The main improvement is that I've been able to move one of the hinges inside the case. The other hinge is still outside, but it's now solid and smoother than before. If you already have a case-rap 4.0 or 5.0 model, you can update your hinge system right away. I also recommend moving your Z-motors to the top. This has improved print quality by reducing z-wobble. When building a new case-rap 5.0, don't worry about new build instructions with those hinges. Instead, use the updated version and follow these offsets for installing the hinges on the case. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLZENsrhNu0
