A Water-Resistant Mountable Housing. ================-------- This casing features a self-contained seal. (I utilized a rubber strap for the gasket.) The unit can be secured with zip ties, or fastened using bolts and screws. Instructions: Print the housing using Printrbot 1405 and 1.75mm PLA filament. Operate Repetier Host Software. Utilize default Slic3r settings with support features enabled. Position the part until a flat surface is flush against the bed. The presence of supports helps when bonding case joining flanges. Position the seal groove in the base, aligning it with an O-ring for added water resistance. (I chose to use a common elastic strap.) Included blender files enable you to personalize and adjust the casing according to your preferences.
