Case of Waveshare 2.7" ePaper display and Raspberry Pi A+
thingiverse
Designed this to use as a Crypto Ticker. This case is designed to house a Raspberry Pi A+ and a Waveshare 2.7" ePaper display. Note the A+ is a smaller board than the more common Pi B or Pi 4 boards so the B and 4 boards will not fit. Tolerances are tight creating a nice snug fit for the Pi and display. Generally speaking the case was designed with 0.5mm tolerances and the lip of the lid snaps shut with a 0.25mm tolerance. Care should be taken when sliding the screen in so as not to catch the ribbon on the back of the display. Pay particular attention to this as you get close to half way in and be sure to lift the ribbon as it goes into the case to save it from getting snagged. The lid intentionally has a small notch in it for you to be able to slip a blade in and pop the lid off. Obviously you can run any software you please on the Pi but I designed this with the intension of operating as a Crypto Ticker and llvllch's [btcticker](https://github.com/llvllch/btcticker) project on GitHub is an excellent example, or you could always run my (slightly) dodgy Python script to display 3 coins simultaneously. I printed this on an Ender 3 at 0.12mm layer height and it came out perfect!
