Case mould - leatherman skeletool (leathercraft)
thingiverse
Parametric Leather Mould. You can easily modify: * Rectangle shape * Leather thickness I took up new hobby some time ago - Leathercraft - as I wanted to make a phone holster. I tried buying one, I really tried... Compulsive making took over. And it seems that 3D printer is a great tool to make mould for any shape. (If you still don't know what it is -> Google: leather wet forming) After success with phone case, which I use now for nearly half a year, I wanted to make one for my Leatherman - which is how customizable mould came to life. What could be worth considering in redesign is: * 3 part it - bottom could be detachable (so that it could be used later when it sewed) * Add place for stamping post in mould (filled in for forming time) - it's hard to place stamp in proper place when it's sewed (stamp: the piece of metal used for hammering button in) * Add another tiny mould for belt strap - it needs one too, otherwise it's not perfect yet. This model has a tiny bit too much depth - around 3mm - feel free to make it perfect fit, I like it as it is, I could put in a bit larger leatherman this way too probably.
