Case Mods for Shapeoko 2 Electronics

These mods were designed by me to integrate the Shapeoko 2 electronics into an old computer case that I was no longer using. I plan on adding more components, including a motherboard, to turn this into one complete and compact case housing both host computer and CNC electronics. The case chosen is the InWin Maelstrom model with a toolless design for easy assembly. Although the tray should work seamlessly with most any standard computer, some compatibility issues may arise if your case doesn't feature similar covers. The top cover used in these images is designed to hold the Spindle Speed controller from Inventables, which is securely fitted using a combination of pressure and screws. Beneath this tray, you'll find space for the TinyG system. This area includes provisions for installing either a 120mm fan or an optional mount made by me that can be accessed at Thingiverse under: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:672426. In addition to these components, I have also included spare blank trays and covers in case further customization is needed for your specific application. Feel free to share any questions, thoughts, or suggestions you may have - it's greatly appreciated!
