It saves time measuring things accurately without relying on calipers, eliminating the uncertainty of printer tolerances, and allowing you to design a case based on the object's size or fit. I used to measure something as precisely as possible, input the numbers into my CAD software, and then print it out, only to find that it was always slightly too small or too large. My printer, like many others, wasn't perfectly calibrated, so I'd have to adjust the numbers manually and reflash my board, a daunting task. The Whole Gauge features semi-circular measurements ranging from 10mm to 24mm, square measurements from 9mm to 15mm, and circular measurements from 4mm to 10mm. For the Half Gauge, semi-circular measurements range from 10mm to 23mm, minus one size due to space constraints; square halves range from 9mm to 20mm. These gauges help you determine the exact number required for a snug-fitting case, allowing you to enter the corresponding measurement into your CAD software and print it out with precision, taking into account any printer inaccuracies.
