Case for Waveshare 7" IPS Capacitive Touchscreen LCD (1024×600) (model C) with articulating arm attachment
thingiverse
This is a minimal size case for the Waveshare 7" LCD touchscreen (C) for a raspberry pi. Specifically, this model: https://thepihut.com/products/7-ips-capacitive-touchscreen-lcd-low-power-1024x600. The CAD model for the Waveshare board from the official site (https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/7inch_HDMI_LCD_(C)) seems to indicate that the (B) model has the same PCB layout, so it might fit. I cannot confirm this, though. It requires 4x square M3 nuts and 4x 12mm M3 socket head bolts to fix the case together. These bolts go through the PCB board and hold everything together. I also added an optional attachment to allow you to mount your screen on an articulating arm. Specifically, this excellent model: https://www.printables.com/model/3407-articulating-raspberry-pi-camera-mount-for-prusa-m. You'll need 4x 8mm M3 bolts, and optionally a 10mm M3 button head screw for the centre hole. There is plenty of clearance between the ends of the bolts and the PCB.
