Case for USB ASP 2.0
thingiverse
To avoid potential firmware issues, I purchased a cheap 3v/5v AVR Programmer on eBay for future use. Its product page can be found at http://www.protostack.com/accessories/usbasp-avr-programmer. Although I haven't used it yet, the programmer is perfect for reprogramming bootloaders manually. An updated version of the case offers improved round holes for LEDs (1.75mm) that accommodate a small length of t-glase as a light pipe. Due to 3D printing artifacts, you may need to ream the holes with a 1.75mm drill bit or a #50. Additional tabs were added to help hold the case together but with limited success. If your USB ASP is from China, ensure you're running the latest firmware to avoid errors during use. A helpful guide on updating firmware can be found online. The assembled case (excluding USB ASP connectors) measures approximately 47mm x 22.9mm x 11.25mm.
