Assembly Video: https://youtu.be/wOMzah51rM0 German Instructions Below! The assembly of this Raspberry case is shown in the video. A 17.8 cm (7") TFT LCD touch display, with 800 x 480 pixels resolution, is used. The case is compatible with it. The special thing about this design is that the Raspi is mounted lengthwise. The USB connectors and network connector can be accessed from the outside. Additional openings will have to be made in the case to access other connectors, or you can use existing ones already included in the design. As an alternative, you can also add them to your plans. When using the Raspberry Pi as an OBD2 computer, the vehicle provides power directly via the Diamex-OBD-HAT (5V), which powers both the Raspi and the Foundation's touch display. Therefore, no additional power supply is included in this example. The front and back of the case are made from 3mm acrylic, laser-cut for precision. The aluminum pieces, or side frame, are made from 11cm long aluminum profiles GB77, provided by Fischer-Elektronik (www.fischerelektronik.de). After assembly, the case is very stable. An OBD2-HAT by Diamex is used in this example. Of course, you can also use other HAT hardware for the Raspberry Pi.
