Case for the DP30V5A power supply
thingiverse
I have a cheap and handy DP30V5A power supply that I needed to house in a case. Seeing some other cases here wasn't enough - I wanted a barrel jack for input and USB, XT60 for output, allowing connection of various other types of connectors. Not having the final USB and XT60 connectors yet, I ballparked them but the holes should be good, pretty snug without being too hard to fit. The PSU itself fits great, and any changes made will be uploaded as they are printed into a finalized version. The XT60 connector is meant for charging batteries and general-purpose use (for example, getting single wires for breadboards, DC barrel jacks, etc). I didn't add a second barrel jack because I didn't want people accidentally plugging a power supply into the output and frying the DP. This design should print well with minimal supports, depending on printer quality at bridging. Mainly where it needs supports are the little insets for connectors added to prevent them from moving left and right. The PSU fits perfectly without needing glue since it's always pushed and never pulled, but supergluing the connectors themselves may be a good idea so they can be handled with reckless abandon.
