Case for Swimming Goggles
prusaprinters
I have lost my case for my swimming goggles. They are the AquaSphere Kayenne, rather big – so your's should fit, too.I designed the case to have really good ventilation, the only things in my bag that could scrape against them are bigger than the holes in the case. Also, I don't have to take the goggles out to dry after a swim :) PrintingI've printed them in clear PETG with three perimeters, otherwise standard settings. Both pieces rotated so that the large face is on the build plate. The small bridging over the nose bridge should be fine without supports. AssemblyFor assembly you'll need 10 pieces of 5x5 mm cylindrical magnets. It's intentionally designed to have the magnets stick out of the top piece to account for shearing forces. You'll have to push in the magnets in the bottom piece to be lower than the top edge of the case. The fit for the magnets was tight enough to not need any glue in there. All in all, the cover holds on quite strong!
