Case for Sparkfun TinyAVR Programmer
thingiverse
This is a straightforward application for the Sparkfun Tiny AVR Programmer. The case is designed as a snap-fit enclosure that simply snaps into place around your Tiny AVR, with the USB port inserted first. No glue or screws are required to secure it in position. The case itself has a loose fit (tolerances were not fully optimized) which results in the board inside rattling slightly. If this is bothersome, applying a small amount of hot glue can easily resolve the issue. The case leaves the prototyping pins and IC socket exposed for easy use. To achieve a clean opening for the USB port, I recommend adding minimal support to the top part of the enclosure. The lip surrounding the USB port will be concealed by its presence, preventing any visible artifacts from the support structure. Ensure that STL files are properly oriented for printing.
