I instructed you to print both display parts top and bottom along with two distance pieces. Next, I removed the unnecessary yellow FBAS cable, unsoldered the barrel connector, fed it through the whole, and resoldered it in place. The two distance pieces securely hold the electronics controller board in position. A thick layer of cardboard separated the aluminum back of the display from the electrical contacts of the controller. Everything fit perfectly without using any tools or glue. However, to be absolutely sure, I decided to glue the two halves together finally. Since I planned to use this display outside in direct sunlight (as a display for my drone), I built a visor to keep the sun out.
