Case for sim racing car spotter and flags
prusaprinters
This is a case designed for an WS2812B RGB Module and an Arduino Pro Micro, as per amstudio's great explanation video at https://youtu.be/4oywox9-B-o. This provides real-time information for sim racing drivers such as the current gear in place, active flags, car spotter, pit lane limiter, etc.The bottom case is meant for the use of thread inserts (M3). The top case accepts M3 screws, which should go exactly flush and be 10mm long. The USB-C port of the Arduino is meant to be on the left-side of the box. No screws are necessary to keep the Arduino nor the RGB LED module in place.Follow the instructions from the video for the list of parts, and how to solder and assemble them. The video also explains how to flash and setup the device once completed. The "perspex" file can be used with transparent filament instead of a plexiglas cover; it is only 2mm deep, even though the cover is meant for a 3mm cover. It should clip nicely in place though.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:PrusaPrinter: I3 MK3SSupports:YesInfill: 20%Filament: Prusament or colorFabb PLA or XT Any Notes: Support is only recommended for the top case, on the build plate.
