Case for remote
thingiverse
This is a remote for a La-Z-Boy electric recliner. The original had the buttons gnawed off by my two-year-old. Online stores wanted anywhere from $80 to $100 for a replacement. I used two three-way switches ($5 for five) to lift the legs up and lower the back down. The holes are precisely measured for a perfect fit. **DO NOT SCALE** this design if you're using these switches and the existing La-Z-Boy cable. You can customize it to fit different switch sizes, if needed. The strain relief works perfectly for the original flexible cord. The box snaps together without any screws, although it prints with recessed screw holes to secure it tightly. This is not an exact replacement, but a new design. If you need a wiring diagram, just let me know. I found these switches on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01480ONVO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I printed it with PETG, but this design is a bit over-engineered and any material will work just fine.
