Case for Raspberry Pi B/B+/2 and Detachable camera mount
thingiverse
This is a two-part setup designed for the Raspberry Pi, compatible with B, B+, and 2 models, as well as presumably the 3 model. To attach the Pi to the base plate, you'll need some M2.5 bolts and nuts along with spacers, after which everything else will fit together smoothly. The camera mount is part of this setup and simply needs a few M2 nuts and bolts to stay in place on the mount; it then clicks together via friction. This particular case has been designed to work with screens and similar components, making it slightly taller than Adafruit's standard case that most designs are based on. The lid can be easily slid off and snaps into place for secure closure. This setup is part of a modular camera system for the Raspberry Pi that I worked on last year as part of my "Switch" project. Although I had more ideas planned, it's not practical for me to continue working on it right now, so I'm hoping the community will pick up where I left off and turn this into a reality. More components are available in my gallery. The goal was to create interchangeable parts that could be used with each other, allowing people to build a rig of any size or format they preferred.
