Case for Raspberry Pi 4

The Raspberry Pi 4 tends to overheat quickly under normal usage, automatically reducing its performance in the process. To mitigate this issue, we created a custom 3D printed case that integrates a cooling fan and several innovative features. For a detailed overview of our design, visit our blog post at https://www.219design.com/cool-your-raspberry-pi-3d-printed-case/. If you're looking for a compatible fan, you can find one at https://www.adafruit.com/product/3368. Our case is designed to operate in two distinct modes. Desktop Mode: When used as a PC, the Raspberry Pi 4 can be enclosed within the case with its lid fitting snugly against the shell, creating an efficient cooling system. Development Mode: For users who utilize the Raspberry Pi as a development board similar to an Arduino, easy access to the board's pins is crucial. In this mode, the lid can be rotated 180 degrees and set apart from the bottom shell, allowing for unobstructed wire management while still protecting and cooling the board. Beyond its sleek design, our case effectively cools the Raspberry Pi 4 through snap fits that securely hold a 30mm Pi fan in place. During stress tests, the Raspberry Pi 4 remained well within its safe operating temperature without relying on heatsinks. This means you can save money by skipping heatsinks altogether! Our creation is brought to you by 219 Design at 219design.com.
