Case for Raspberry Pi 3 A+ and LM2596
thingiverse
This is a compact case engineered specifically for the Raspberry Pi 3 A+ and a LM2596 buck converter, measuring as large as a standard Raspberry Pi B case. The design is entirely 3D printed, eliminating the need for any screws. Both the Raspberry Pi and the LM2596 are secured using custom-printed 'nuts' that rely on friction fit to hold them in place. I designed this case with passive cooling in mind. I conducted extensive testing by printing multiple projects over several hours using Octopi, and the Raspberry Pi consistently stayed within a safe operating temperature range. To power the setup, I connected the 24V output from the Ender3 PSU directly to the input of the LM2596 buck converter. I then set the output voltage to 5.10V and soldered two cables with DuPont connectors for easy connection. For accurate GPIO pin configuration, refer to https://pinout.xyz/.
