Case for PC Stereo Speaker
thingiverse
I designed a creative solution to merge two stereo PC speakers into a single enclosure. My goal was to eliminate clutter and provide a sleeker design for my home computer setup. To accomplish this, I began by removing the grills from both speakers and separating their electrical connections. Next, I carefully disassembled each speaker's internal components, taking note of their precise configurations and wiring schemes. Once I had a clear understanding of how each speaker worked individually, I set about reconfiguring them to function as a single stereo unit. This involved rewiring the speakers' output cables to share a common ground, while also ensuring that the left and right channels were properly balanced. With the electrical connections in place, I turned my attention to the mechanical aspects of the design. To create a seamless integration of both speakers within the same enclosure, I employed a clever combination of adhesive foam and strategic positioning of the speaker drivers. The end result was a beautifully crafted stereo PC speaker system that not only occupied less space but also delivered richer, more immersive sound quality than either individual speaker could provide on its own.
