Case for Parrot Drone
thingiverse
Folding custom case for Parrot drone, engineered to enable a customized camera mount in the front section. This design accommodates up to six batteries and spare propellers. For optimal results, print with .3mm layers at 10% infill density. Post-printing instructions require inserting a piece of filament through slots in the back hinges. Use a soldering iron or a similar heat source to gently press the filament into place, effectively flattening the ends like a nail. This procedure should be repeated on both sides to securely fasten the filament within the hinges. A DesignSpark file has been included, allowing for customization to suit individual preferences. Update: The design has been revised to accommodate Turnigy 750mAh batteries and to address hinge stability issues as of March 2nd, 2016.
