Case for MFA speed regulator
thingiverse
For optimal cooling control in targeted prints, I deploy an MFA speed regulator (Model Number 919D2P), obtainable at Maplin's stores, to actively regulate the extruder fan's speed with precise manual adjustment. This straightforward case accommodates the MFA speed controller.\nIts dimensions measure 72mm by 52mm by 25mm in total volume. A specifically crafted window, sized 20mm wide and 6mm deep, enables secure passage of cables within. Version two includes two parallel ventilation slots, measuring a slender 2mm across, ensuring adequate airflow to enhance overall printing performance. Suitable for mounting on panels up to 63mm in width by 43mm in depth, the upper cover seamlessly attaches using a reliable snap fit. To cater for varied materials, particularly PLA compounds, minor dimensional adjustments of less than 1% are required, guaranteeing smooth print outcomes without the need for extensive retooling.
