This the casing I made for my dual axis solar tracker motor, I added the sensor and the yellow motor I used in model. It requires 2 100 mm M2 bolts for motor , 2 8mm M2 bolts for LM393 sensor and 1 10 mm M5 bolt and nut for mounting the case to fixed place. I also used 4 neodymium magnets (6mm diameter and 3mm thickness ). this allows you to remove the bottom lid easily. The encoder disk I added has 10 slots and specifically desinged for low resolution but high accuracy, it rarely cause slot skipping issues. The long rod one has total 11 mm height (8 mm rod) and short one has 8 mm height (5 mm rod), I made the rod holes non linear so they get smaller when you push the disk further so you don't need to use anything. If you want more encoder disk types, I also put 30 slot disk I made and clear one for custom disks I used PLA with %25 infill ratio but I recommend using ABS instead since it's better for filtering IR light. I recommend adding hot glue or silicone where motor and casing gets really close (about 1mm gap) so when you tighten the bolts, it'll create waterproof casing.
