The Line6 DL4 boasts unparalleled 1-button-press functionality among all loop pedals, making it stand out as the best option. Additionally, it weighs a ton and is massive in size. This custom case for the Line6 DL4 is smaller and lighter. It's still a work in progress - I printed one, encountered numerous missteps, and had to make adjustments to the DL4 circuit board before going back and trying to rectify the measurement errors from memory. As a result, it may not be an exact fit, but with minor adjustments, it will be very close. Key features and details include: - The two halves of the pedal should fit snugly together. - It's roughly the same size as the circuit board. - Due to its tight fit on my printer bed, thicker lines are used for better gluing. A blank spot is left for reinforcing the halves with scrap strips. Original buttons from the pedal must be shimmed from below so the spring can reach all the way down to the PCB. Check the photos to see how low they're mounted. If necessary, you can also stretch the springs. I've just remembered an adjustment I missed - some of the plugs on the back are off, so you'll need to ream them a bit with a pocket knife or move them up slightly with a Dremel. For other adjustments, if not sufficient, you may have to adjust the PCB holes using your Dremel. All caps on the PCB must be bent down, and the large cap might need to be resoldered, loosened enough to bend, or extended. There's extra space in the design for that cap - I was able to desolder a bit and bend it just enough for the space. As an added bonus, this case also fixes the wobbly knobs found on the original Line6 design. I apologize for the messiness of the design, which was created using Tinkercad. Changes were difficult, so I've included unsliced models for you to modify as needed - like changing the words "THER GUIT" on the back (which represents input 1 and 2, although they have different gains). You can slice off and change all the text with your CAD. Make sure to print with full support that's easy to remove.
