Case For LCD & Keypad

Revars LCD mod is an amazing addition to the Cupcake 3D printer; find instructions at wiki.makerbot.com/revarlcd-assembly for assembly. After acquiring this modification, I sought a way to encase my LCD and keypad. To achieve this, I designed my own enclosure, which I hope others can use as well. I highly recommend adding this mod to all Makerbots; it costs around $70 to build and allows printing without a computer connection. To construct the LCD case, print both halves and bond them using CA glue, available for about $5 at hobby stores. CA glue is as strong as ABS and melts the pieces together. The keypad requires only one print and fits snugly. Secure it with screws and mount the cases to your Makerbot's front using screws that run from inside the bot into the case rim.
